This Was 28

In life, we tend to look back and feel defeated on where we are in our journey.
This last year, I decided to consciously live in the moment.
When I turned 28, I told myself that I will take the time to focus on my mental state and expanding IMAE Designs.
I started with a photoshoot by Jasmine
(She's an amazing photographer, check her out.)

Less than two months later I was told that I was being laid off but I had a job offer two weeks later. WON'T HE DO IT!
Within this past year I legalized IMAE Designs and changed my logo three times. (Thanks for the patience Audra. She's does great check her out too!)

I paid off my car and felt like an adult for the first time in my adulthood.
I was able to go back to my old high school and talk to the children about my career, college, and entrepreneurship.

I traveled to NY, ATL, Cancun and watched my little sister graduate from Mississippi State:

I ran a 5k. (I am lying, I walked and jogged.)

For the first time I felt like real business owner because I went to Chicago for a wholesale event and I had a name tag #SmallMomentsMatter

I invested in a vinyl cutting machine for better branding and products:

I got an office space and planned my first pop up. Get tickets Here!

Most importantly, I enjoyed myself. Every moment of it.

I am sharing all of this to say, step back and appreciate the things that you DID do and not the ones that you did not. Focus on what you CAN control and not those that you can not. It might all sound cliche and simple but DO IT. You never know how far you have came until you look back to appreciate only the moments that made you smile

Thank you for reading. :)
